(2019) "Creeping Beauty" (20" x 20") is the 8th and final piece in my German Fairytale Series. Many children have consumed the story of "Sleeping Beauty" through the Disney lens. The original story in Grimm's is called "The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood", where Briar Rose falls into a 100-year sleep and is saved and awakened by the hero prince.

In my rendition, the prince was just a little too late.
