(2020) "The DuPont Monster" is the 2nd drawing in my Campfire Stories Series. Growing up off of DuPont Road in rural Illinois, the woods on our property had (as Rod Serling would have phrased it) some question marks that sparkled and beckoned. This piece is inspired by my own and several family members' stories of seeing lights in the trees, with one account where a piece of heavy machinery parked in the woods one night insisted that its cabin light remain on.
