Snow Queen Hibiscus
(2021) "Snow Queen Hibiscus" (20" x 20") is the 8th drawing in the Nature Reclamation Series. This piece is a study on the beautiful relationship between flowers and snow. A snowflake begins to form when an extremely cold water droplet freezes onto a pollen or dust particle in the sky. This creates an ice crystal. As the ice crystal falls to the ground, water vapor freezes onto the primary crystal, building new crystals – the six arms of the snowflake. The warm heart of my Snow Queen is fascinated by this natural magic.
